§ 18B-8. Incarceration of child.

(a)
No jail sentence shall be imposed upon persons under the age of eighteen years who have been convicted of a violation under this Code.
(b)
Incarceration not to exceed forty-eight hours may be imposed on a child for failure to comply with a lawful order of the court, including an order to pay a fine. Any incarceration of a child shall be in compliance with section 19-2-204(4) C.R.S.
